Pragati (“the app”) is an early-learning app for preschoolers, published by NCOSYS (“we”, “us”). Learning content works fully offline.
We designed this app so that there is nothing of yours for us to collect. Pragati does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics.
None. We operate no server for this app and we receive none of your child’s information. We cannot see your child’s name, what they tap, how long they use the app, or anything else about them.
The Play release does not declare an internet permission. Two on-device services are used, and neither sends personal information to us:
There is no advertising, analytics, or tracking software of any kind.
To remember your settings between sessions, the app saves the following only in local storage on your own device:

The parent PIN is held in the Android system keystore (encrypted storage provided by your device). Everything else is held in a private app database that only Pragati can read.
This information is never sent to us. It is not sent to any third party by the app. It exists only on your device.
Pragati contains no advertisements and no analytics or tracking. There are no third-party advertising networks, no measurement software, and no social media plugins. Nothing in the app profiles your child or builds an advertising identity.
This app is intended for children and is designed for use under adult supervision. Because the app collects no personal information and we receive nothing off the device, there is no personal data for us to store or disclose.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone — because we do not collect personal information at all. This is our approach to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the GDPR protections for children.
There are no in-app purchases, no chat or messaging, no user-generated content, no external links, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone through the app.
The Play release of Pragati requests no sensitive Android permissions. It does not ask for the internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or phone.
It queries the device’s text-to-speech service so names can be spoken on the device. Screen Pin uses Android’s built-in screen-pinning (lock-task) API; it does not add a permission prompt.
Debug and profile builds used by developers may request internet access for Flutter tooling (hot reload). That permission is not in the Google Play release.
Because the information described in Section 2 lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it:
There is no data held by us to request, correct, or delete, because we never receive any.
We do not share, disclose, rent, or sell personal information, because we do not collect it. No data is passed by us to any third party for any purpose.
Information stored by the app stays within your device’s private, sandboxed app storage, which other apps cannot read. The parent PIN is additionally protected by the Android keystore. We operate no backend for Pragati, so there is no server of ours to breach.
If we add a feature that changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above before that feature is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
